Engloba a un conjunto de enfermedades con caracter\u00edsticas propias, cada una con un nombre, un tratamiento y un pron\u00f3stico espec\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias al diagn\u00f3stico temprano, el tratamiento adecuado y el cuidado integral del paciente, la posibilidad de sobrevida puede llegar hasta m\u00e1s del 80 por ciento. Cuando el c\u00e1ncer se detecta en una fase temprana, es m\u00e1s probable que responda a un tratamiento eficaz, aumentando las probabilidades de supervivencia y reduciendo el sufrimiento. Un diagn\u00f3stico correcto es vital para tratar a estos ni\u00f1os, porque cada c\u00e1ncer requiere un r\u00e9gimen terap\u00e9utico concreto que puede incluir cirug\u00eda, radioterapia y quimioterapia.<\/p>\n<p>En Argentina, el Programa Nacional de Cuidado Integral del Ni\u00f1o y Adolescente con C\u00e1ncer busca garantizar equidad y accesibilidad a la mejor calidad de atenci\u00f3n a ni\u00f1os y adolescentes con c\u00e1ncer en todas las fases de estas enfermedades.
