Se da predominantemente en la piel y mucosas, y con menor frecuencia en los ojos, el sistema nervioso central, el mesenterio y el o\u00eddo interno.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de los factores de riesgo se encuentran antecedentes familiares de melanoma, exposici\u00f3n solar intensa, s\u00edndrome de nevos displ\u00e1sico, gran cantidad de nevos, piel clara, quemaduras solares, uso de camas solares, entre otras.<\/p>\n<p>Este tipo de c\u00e1ncer tienen cuatro subtipos cl\u00ednicos: <em>Melanoma extensivo superficial, Melanoma lentigo maligno, Melanoma Acrolentiginoso y Melanoma nodular<\/em>, de los cuales los dos \u00faltimos son los m\u00e1s peligrosos. Lo que llama la atenci\u00f3n al paciente es, generalmente, un cambio en un lunar ya existente o la formaci\u00f3n de un nuevo bulto pigmentado o de aspecto inusual en la piel pero el melanoma tambi\u00e9n puede presentarse sin pigmento (color) o escaso pigmento (poco color).<\/p>\n<p>El diagn\u00f3stico se realiza por sospecha cl\u00ednica (A: asimetr\u00eda, B: bordes irregulares, C: colores variados, D: di\u00e1metro mayor a 5mm, E: evoluci\u00f3n) y mediante m\u00e9todos como dermatoscop\u00eda, videodermatoscop\u00eda digital y biopsia.<\/p>\n<p>La prevenci\u00f3n del melanoma se lleva a cabo evitando el sol entre las 10\u00a0am y las 4\u00a0pm, usando protector solar, evitando las l\u00e1mparas de bronceado y las camas solares, conociendo el tipo de piel para poder notar los cambios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&lt;&lt; Conoce y distingue tus lunares. &gt;&gt;<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este d\u00eda se celebra con el objetivo de concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n sobre la importancia del diagn\u00f3stico precoz de este tipo de c\u00e1ncer.
